nose makeup Tips
The shape of your nose can be altered using highlighting and
contouring techniques for a Long Wide Nose, a Thin Nose, a Nose
with a Bump, a Crooked Nose, a Long Nose and a Wide Nose.
1. Long, Wide Nose
1) Apply darker shade of foundation on either side of the
bridge of the nose.
2) Extend down along each side of the nose and blend.
3) Extend contour down, between, and around nostrils, covering
tip of the nose.
4) Blend.
2. Widen a Thin Nose
1) Apply lighter shade of foundation down the sides of the nose
and blend.
2) If the nose is too sharp and pointed, apply a darker shade on
and under the tip of the nose.
3) Blend
3. Soften a Bump
1) Apply darker shade of foundation directly on bump and blend.
2) Apply lighter shade of foundation on either side of bump from
bridge to nostrils and blend.
4. Straighten a Crooked Nose
1) Apply darker shade of foundation on to the bulging side of the
nose and blend.
2) On the opposite side of the nose, apply a lighter shade and
blend.
5. Shorten a Long Nose
1) Apply darker shade of foundation to tip and underside of nose.
2) Extend contouring down, between, and around nostrils.
3) Highlighting is not needed because foundation on the tip of the
nose will be seen as a highlight.
6. Thin a Wide Nose
1) Apply darker shade of foundation on either side of the bridge
of the nose.
2) Extend down along each side of the nose and blend.
3) Apply a thin line of a lighter shade of foundation down center
of nose and blend.
4) To correct wide nostrils, apply darker shade on sides of
nostrils and blend.
