A liplining pencil has a harder consistency than a lipstick 
and is used to outline the lips so as to clearly define thier 
shape.It is a great aid, if your lips are not perfectly shaped; 
you can make the lips appear thinner or fuller or you can draw 
an uplifted corner if your lips droop.The outlining of the lips 
in addition, prevents bleeding of the lip product into the tiny 
lines that are present around the mouth, giving the lips a 
sharp, defined outline.

Applying lipliner correctly

Shining lip liner could be used for outlining the matte lips. 
This looks very trendy. Whenever applying lip liner always start 
from the centre and then move towards the corner.

Make lips look bigger

1. Apply a light shade of foundation followed by powder on your 
lips to remove the color from your lips.
2. Start with a lip liner in a color that closely matches your 
color of lipstick.
3. Make the outline just outside your natural lip line.
4. Now fill with lipstick and then blend.

1. For long lasting lip color, apply sheer layer of foundation on 
lips, dust powder on them and then color them. This also helps 
lipstick not to change its color on dark lips. 
2. Choose a lip liner close to lipstick color to define the shape 
of lips. 
3. To make your lips look thicker, make the outline just outside 
your natural lip line while for thinner lip look, place the 
outline just inside the natural lip line. 
4. Now fill the defined shape with lipstick using a brush and 
blend the color well with the outline until the latter is not 
noticeable. 
5. Lipsticks can be glossy, matte, creamy or frost ones. Choose 
the one that suits you and do not make the skin on lip look dried 
and chipped. 
6. A sheer tinted gloss look can also be achieved by sucking on 
the Popsicle of desired shade! 
7. Apply two coats of lipstick for longer durability. After the 
first coat, press the lips on a tissue paper and then apply the 
other coat. 
8. Outlining of the lips prevents lip color bleeding. 
9. Lip-gloss can be applied on lipstick or used alone for a nude 
look. 
10. Gloss makes lips appear fuller, so women with thicker lips 
should avoid using it.
